Children's Librarian Nadine from Waterford, Connecticut, has declared the first Saturday of February as Take Your Child to the Library Day - February 4, 2012. All libraries are encouraged and welcome to participate. Participation can be as simple as a sign above the desk or as elaborate as a storytime, a display, or a performer.  There's no need to change your scheduled events to participate.
