December updates

Hi, everyone!

Just a few more useful bits of information for all of you. Contact me directly if anything needs explaining.

For general information about the day, including sample press releases, logo images for use, and promotional materials to purchase, visit http://www.ctlibrarians.org/?page=Take

Registration: This year, we are asking everyone to register as a participant (It's FREE) via our survey. To *bribe you*, I will tell you that everyone who registers will be entered into a prize drawing of about 20 prizes. I have been saving them all year including some great Readalongs from Recorded Books, so please register here for a chance to win one: http://bit.ly/TYCLD15 (Deadline for prize drawing January 20).

Volunteers are always welcome as are sponsors (give prizes or other materials to help out) and supporters (authors, publishers, dignitaries who want to send us a photo, quote or other verbal endorsement for the website).

Please email me with questions or concerns or ideas at any time. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear from all of you - caugusta [at] stratfordlibrary [dot] org

State/Province/Region representatives!

Since I have sent a few (or 100) emails recently about state representatives, just wanted to get the info on how to volunteer front and center. Please email me at caugusta [at] stratfordlibrary [dot] org with any question whatsoever. It is always a true joy to hear from any librarian, especially one from a different part of the country/continent/world, so if you are on the fence, just think how excited I will be to get your email--write us!

2015 Welcome!

Welcome back to Take Your Child to the Library Day 2015. If you participated in the past, welcome back. If this is your first year, welcome! It's easy to participate. This year, we will have a registration form coming soon so we can send you updates from time to time. We also love to hear what each library is doing, so please send us your news using the comments section!

A special welcome to Lindsey S at the Eudora Public Library. She is our newest state representative from the great state of Kansas. We look forward to sharing ideas with our colleagues in Kansas, Lindsey!

Have a great time, tomorrow! And don't forget surveys and photos!

I hope everyone is ready for a great day tomorrow. Please remember to fill out the survey - remember, leave any questions that aren't easy to answer blank - (we don't want you to spend an hour on this, just a quick response is great). You can find it under the SURVEY tab here on the blog.

Also check out the PHOTO tab if you want to upload photos to our Flickr page. We'd love to see your library's events ... and so would everyone else!

Ready for fun?!!
