State/Province/Region representatives!

Since I have sent a few (or 100) emails recently about state representatives, just wanted to get the info on how to volunteer front and center. It is always a true joy to hear from any librarian, especially one from a different part of the country/continent/world, so if you are on the fence, just think how excited I will be to get your email--write us!

2015 Welcome!

Welcome back to Take Your Child to the Library Day 2015. If you participated in the past, welcome back. If this is your first year, welcome! It's easy to participate. This year, we will have a registration form coming soon so we can send you updates from time to time. We also love to hear what each library is doing, so please send us your news using the comments section!

Take Your Child to the Library Day has won the Connecticut Library Association Faith Hektoen Award for outstanding program for 2014. Congratulations to Nadine, Caitlin, and every participating library for making this event award winning!

I really love each of your celebrations so, so much). I think* I have everybody up to date and any additions or corrections, but please comment and let me know if I didn't. A note for the catalogers ... I have started organizing libraries by town name if it is not the name of their library. This is not yet consistent on the blog, but probably will be ... um ... before next year :) Thus, check for your library under its name OR its town name if they are different.
